Using a heated tank with chemical stripper can be super effective for removing tough coatings, but it's all about following the right steps to stay safe and get the best results!
First, make sure you've got the right safety gear: gloves, goggles, and a respirator are a must. (Use of an impervious apron is recommended)
Next, fill the heated tank about halfway with the chemical stripper. Our Multi-Strip (50/50 & 100) operates at 140 to 180 degrees F. Place the items you want to strip in the tank, making sure they're fully submerged. Let them soak for about 30 minutes, periodically checking to see how the coating is loosening.
Once the time is up, carefully remove the items and use water to rinse and get rid of any remaining residue. Rinse everything thoroughly with water and let it dry completely.
Lastly, dispose of the used chemical stripper properly, according to local regulations.
This method can save you a ton of time and effort, especially for intricate or heavily coated items!!!
